What this work is.
Axiom is the longest-running line of work at SHV and the one the other programmes borrow from. It asks a structural question rather than a performance one: as a system is asked to handle more, what makes its internal organisation settle rather than fragment?
It is foundational work. It does not have a product attached to it and is not expected to produce one soon.
